Please find the answers to your questions below: 1. Is there any term of symbol (coat of arms) – imposed by our national legislation, judicial practice or legal tradition – to be used in the heading of court decisions to indicate in whose name or on behalf of whom they are delivered? In the affirmative, please provide us with the exact term or symbol (coat of arms). All the judgements of the Supreme Court of Estonia are made in the name of the Republic of Estonia. Just to give you an example: KOHTUOTSUS EESTI VABARIIGI NIMEL 2. Is there a difference in the aforementioned way of heading of court decisions – by virtue of national legislation, judicial pratice or legal tradition – based on their level, type or form or on the branch of law concerned? All the judgements made in the Supreme Court’s Civil Chamber, Administrative Law Chamber, Criminal Chamber, Constitutional Law Chamber are made in the name of the Republic of Estonia. There is no differences between law branches. This being said, the aforementioned applies only to judgements, orders are made without a reference to the state. Hopefully you find our anwers helpful for conducting your research.
