These exchanges with a maximum duration of 2 weeks (10 working days) or 1 week (5 working days), are directly managed by the Network. They are open to a maximum of seventeen Judges from all Supreme Courts. As in the past, knowledge of the working language of the Supreme Court of destination would remain a requirement for consideration of the application. Further to a decision taken by the General Assembly in Rome in June 2014, in order to enable some judges wishing to participate in the program but do not have the knowledge of the language in which the host Supreme Court deliberates, specific but limited funds have been granted to allow the use of an interpreter subject to the approval of all concerned. Short exchanges (for a maximum of five days) may be conducted in a language other than that of the host Supreme Court can also be organized. We would be very grateful if you could indicate whether your Court is interested in organizing such exchanges. We would highly appreciate that you kindly already inform the Secretariat of the Network ([email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> ) of the names and e-mail address of the judges of your Court who would be interested and their wishes for these exchanges (Supreme Court of destination), knowledge of languages and areas of interest. Applicants are kindly invited to submit to the secretariat of the Network ([email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> ) a curriculum vitae and a letter of application indicating their preferences, language knowledge and areas of interest by March 31, 2020. For your information and that of the candidates to the exchange programme, a Practical Information Notice is attached to this message. Yours sincerely, Madame, Monsieur le Premier Président, Le Réseau reprend les échanges entre les juges des cours suprêmes pour l'année 2020. Ces échanges d’une durée maximum de deux semaines (10 jours de travail) ou d’une semaine (5 jours de travail), gérés directement par le Réseau, sont ouverts cette année à dix-sept juges pour l'ensemble des cours suprêmes. Comme par le passé, la connaissance de la langue de travail de la cour suprême d'accueil sera en principe une condition de la prise en considération de la candidature. Comme suite à une décision prise par l’assemblée générale à Rome en juin 2014, afin de permettre à certains juges désirant participer au programme d’échange mais ne possédant pas la langue dans laquelle la cour suprême d’accueil délibère, des crédits spécifiques mais limités ont été obtenus pour permettre le recours à un interprète dans certains cas. Des échanges de courte durée (cinq jours maximum) peuvent également être envisagés et se dérouler dans une langue autre que celle de la cour suprême d’accueil. Nous vous serions très obligés de bien vouloir nous indiquer si votre Cour pourrait organiser de tels stages. Afin de préparer d'ores et déjà ce programme, nous vous serions très obligés de bien vouloir faire connaître au Secrétariat du Réseau ([email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> ) les noms et adresses électroniques des juges de votre Cour qui seraient intéressés ainsi que leurs souhaits pour ces échanges (cour suprême d’accueil), leurs connaissances linguistiques et leurs domaines d’intérêt. Chaque candidat est prié de soumettre au secrétariat du Réseau ([email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> ) un curriculum vitae et une lettre de motivation indiquant leurs préférences, connaissances linguistiques et domaines d’intérêt avant le 31 mars 2020.
