Prof. Kuldar Taveter Tallinna Tehnikaülikool [email protected] 09.04.2018 Our ref. 1-6/178-1 Support of TEHIK for E-Government in ICT-26-2018-2020 - Artificial Intelligence Project Proposal We would like to confirm hereby the strong interest of the Estonian Health and Welfare Information Systems Centre in the “ICT-26-2018-2020 - Artificial Intelligence” project proposal coordinated by the Telecommunications Software and Systems Group (TSSG) from Ireland that will be submitted in response to the H2020-ICT-2018-2020 call for proposals on Artificial Intelligence. We are interested in the results of the above-mentioned project because it is a part of our mission to promote finding patterns in clinical records and combine this information with data coming from other sources, such as social and labour data, and utilizing the combined information for decision support. Therefore, we would be willing to take on an advisory role in the project as an Affiliated Partner, providing health data on diagnosing and curing cancer from the Estonian Health Information System, as well as the social and labour data from the other relevant registries. All data will be provided in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the Republic of Estonia, with the data controller permission and in a form that does not allow identification of the person. The project, we will be working closely with Tallinn University of Technology, who will be a partner in the Predictive Personalized Oncology Use Case.
