We are reaching out to kindly request clarification regarding the procedure for notifying the Estonian competent authority in accordance with Article 11 of the Regulation (EU) 2022/868 on European Data Governance (Data Governance Act, DGA), with the intention of obtaining recognition as a data intermediary. Specifically, we would appreciate your guidance on the following points: 1. Has the competent authority for receiving notifications under the DGA been officially designated in Estonia? 2. If not yet designated, is the Data Protection Inspectorate currently the responsible body handling such inquiries and preparatory communication? 3. Are there any procedural instructions, templates, or required document formats already available for companies intending to submit notification under the DGA? 4. Once the notification mechanism is activated, what would be the appropriate method of submission — digital portal, email, or postal delivery?
