The invitation from Mr Andrew Tan, Chief Executive of MPA, programme brochure and registration form are enclosed. The original invitation will be sent by post shortly. 2 The PMP, a flagship programme of the MPA Academy, is specially designed for port masters, harbour masters, and middle management personnel from maritime administrations or port authorities with 5-8 years of experience in the maritime industry. This non-examinable executive programme will cover a wide spectrum of topics such as master planning for new ports, maximising efficiencies in container/cargo terminal operations, and vessel traffic management using state-of-the art equipment. Participants will also discuss issues on emergency planning and response, port security, crisis communications, and much more. 3 We will be pleased to consider the applicant for the MPA Academy Fellowship Award. The award will cover economy return airfare, programme fee and accommodation in Singapore, as well as provide a training allowance over the course of the programme. 4 To maximise interaction and learning between participants and with lecturers, the desired class size is between 20 and 25 participants.
