Explanatory Note for the Judiclal Semina r 2020
The Judicial Seminar 2020 is entitled "The European Convention on Human Rights: living instrument
at 70". There will be four topics: "Living instrument: The evolutive doctrine" , "Gender equolity'', "The
environmenf' and "Science and technology''.
A background paper has been prepared by the Court's Registry, setting out a selection of references
