I represent Bistox Digital Currency Exchange, a Centralized Digital Currency Exchange
commonly classified as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) and currently regulated by
the Lithuanian Financial Crime Investigation Service (FCIS). We would like to expand our
market reach to a more global audience. In doing so we are considering seeking further
licensing from the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC). The FSC has recently
introduced a new VASP licensing regime that is quite comprehensive and robust.
It is the purpose of this email to find out whether or not your institution would recognize the
Mauritian license and allow us to operate within your jurisdiction.
I kindly request your guidance as to whether we would need to seek additional licensing from
your organization or the licenses we are pursuing would be sufficient to operate within your
jurisdiction?
