Subject: female pilots in Estonia
Dear Sir / Madam,
Would you be so kind to help me (Indya Ruygrok) and my friend (Lara Vasblom) for our school research?
We are two high school students (16 years old) from the Cygnus Gymnasium in Amsterdam, the
Netherlands. We are researching why there are so few female pilots.
In order to do so we need information about the percentage of female pilots from all the Estonian
international commercial airlines and we were hoping you are able to give the average percentage. We
need this because we want to investigate if your Estonian language, one without grammatical gender,
has any influence on the percentage of female pilots compared to other countries with grammatical
gender.
I would appreciate it if you send us a reply.
Yours faithfully,
Indya Ruygrok
