Teema: Invitation to Participate - International Practice, clinical coding
Kuupäev: 2023-12-20 17:05
Dear colleague,
We would like to invite you to participate in a short survey entitled
“Analysis of clinical coding practices in outpatient settings across OECD
countries”.
The purpose of this study is to characterize the clinical coding practices
used in outpatient healthcare settings across different OECD countries. By
exploring the coding systems, methodologies, and purposes employed in
clinical coding within various healthcare settings including primary
healthcare, emergency department, inpatient admissions, and hospital
appointments, our aim is to improve the understanding of the current state
of clinical coding in outpatient care.
Your participation is vital to achieve this goal and may lead to
improvements in the currently used systems and practices.
This study is part of a PhD programme at the NOVA University of Lisbon and
the University of Montpellier.
We kindly request you to complete the questionnaire no later than 20
January 2024. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to
complete.
You may access the questionnaire here:

In the event that you determine that this questionnaire should be
completed by another party, kindly share the questionnaire with them or
provide us with their contact information.
We would like to thank you in advance for your time and contribution and
we look forward to your participation.
Sincerely,
Bárbara Kong Cardoso
