SUPREME COURT REPUBLIC OF ESTONIA Intemati on al Or ganization for Judi c i al Trai ning [email protected] Tarhr, 1 8 September 2019 Dear Justice Elizer Rivlin, the president of the Intemational Organization for Judicial Training Thank you for the letter on 8th of August 2019 notiffing the Supreme Court of Estonia that the waiver of the annual IOJT membership fee had been granted for 2019. It seems that our request for the waiver of the fee was somewhat misunderstood. We would like to clarify that the Supreme Court of Estonia still stands by its decision to withdraw its membership from IOJT. We strongly support IOJT's important aims. We are very grateful for the opportunity to belong to the InternationalOrganization for Judicial Training since 2012. Being apart of IOJT has certainly given us valuable experiences, new contacts and useful ideas about judicial training. Furthermore, we are sincerely thankful for the opportunity to introduce Estonia's judicial training to IOJT.
