Following up on the very successful 1st European Tax Judges Conference in 2016, the non-profit body „Deutsche Finanzgerichtstag e.V.“, an association formed by most of the German tax judges, holding annual meetings to discuss current developments in tax law and problems of procedural law, would like to invite you to the
2nd European Tax Judges Conference in Cologne, Germany
April 27th, 2020
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tax Court of Cologne (Finanzgericht Köln, Appellhofplatz, 50667 Köln)
The conference will be free of charge and the conference language will be English.
A Welcome Reception will be held on Sunday evening, April 26th 2020, 19:00 p.m. by invitation of Deutsche Finanzgerichtstag e.V.
The conference will provide a forum for judges dealing with cases in direct and indirect tax matters and tax law professors to discuss various aspects of their work with colleagues from other countries and to exchange views on european and international law issues.
The conference will be conducted in a panel system. Please find further details in the attached schedule.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference. Tax judges from all instances and tax law professors are invited. We therefore also kindly ask to pass this invitation on to all judges dealing with tax cases in your court and to judges who deal with tax cases in lower courts in your country.
