REINSTATEMENT OF CAMEROON
Reference: IHO CL 05/2017 dated 16 January - Republic of Cameroon - Suspension of Rights of
Membership of the IHO
Dear Hydrographer,
1. I am very pleased to report that Cameroon, whose rights and benefits were suspended on
01 January 2017 in accordance with the provisions of Article XV of the IHO Convention (see
Reference), was able to pay its outstanding contributions on 13 February 2017. From this date all the
rights and benefits of Cameroon as a Member State of the IHO are reinstated.
2. My fellow Directors and I welcome the return of Cameroon to the Organization as a full
Member.
