Therefore, Mr Petre Lăzăroiu, Mr Mircea Ștefan Minea and Mrs Simona Maya Teodoroiu, whose term of office expired on June 9th and 15th 2019, have been replaced by three new justices, Mrs Elena-Simina TĂNĂSESCU, Mr Gheorghe STAN and Mr Cristian DELIORGA, appointed for a nine-year term of office. Pursuant to Article 142 para.(4) of the Constitution, on June 18th 2019, the justices of the Constitutional Court, in its renewed composition, have re-elected Professor Valer DORNEANU, Ph.D., as President of the Constitutional Court of Romania, for a three-year term of office.
