Dear President Panov,
I would like to thank you for your sharing the study on "Media Monitoring and Analysis of
Attacks against Courts". This study gives a comprehensive overview of the situation in
Bulgaria. I am very sorry to hear that the Bulgarian judiciary is subject to aggressive media
attacks that threaten its authority and undermine its independence and there is no sign of
improvement on that matter.
Unfortunately I will be not attending the meeting in Nikosia on 17 May 2019.I wish you every
success with the discussion of the issues in the meeting!
