Oxford Economics 2017 update - Members to provide data by 18
November at the latest
Dear Members,
We have commissioned Oxford Economics to produce the next updated
estimates of
the economic value of the EU shipping industry, in terms of both GVA and
employment. Note that while we need to collect data for individual
countries to do
the analysis, the report update will only present European total figures.
To ensure the update uses the most up-to-date and accurate information
available,
we kindly ask that each national association completes the attached
spreadsheet for
the most recent year available. Do not worry if you do not have all of
the
information, but please fill in as much as you can. As before, Oxford
Economics will
work with you to estimate values where there are gaps. If you have any
questions
about the spreadsheet, please do not hesitate to contact Matthew Dass at
Oxford
Economics.
Please provide information directly to Matthew by Friday 18 November at
the
latest. Due to the need to finalise the updated numbers by early January,
we are
afraid that it will not be possible to include any data received after
that date.
