Dear ladies and gentlemen,
In view of the Bulgarian Presidency to the Monitoring committee of the
Luxembourg declaration, Minister of Labour and Social Policy Ivanka
Shalapatova, kindly invites you to save the date for the Meeting of the
Ministers, responsible for the implementation of the Declaration on 4
October 2023 (in the afternoon) in Sofia, Bulgaria, at the National Palace
of Culture - https://www.ndk.bg/home
On 5 October (in the morning) is the official opening of the 11th edition
of the European forum on the entities of the social and solidarity economy
and you are also invited.
Its first edition was in 2012 and since then we have extended our efforts
to increase the visibility of social economy and raise the awareness of
the broader public of its high benefit for the society as a whole.
An official invitation with details of the schedule will follow in due
course.
The topics that will be discussed during the meeting of the Monitoring
committee in Sofia in October:
- The possibilities of converging the levels of development of the social
economy in the countries of Eastern and Western Europe by promoting
partnerships between individual regions;
- Providing state aid and opportunities to support the social economy
sector through public funding;
- Social innovations and social clusters - opportunities to promote,
multiply and apply specific good practices.
We believe that it will be extremely useful for the participants to
present your vision, national achievements and perspectives in these
areas.
