MAB122 MEETING - REYKJAVIK 16th and 17th of November
Dear members of the MAB. I have earlier sent you an invitation to the MAB122, but as I promished in
Canada recently I now repeat my invitation with a little more information. The meeting will be held in the
Icelandic Transport Authority building at Armuli 2 – 108 Reykjavik. The meeting room is called Aðalstræti
(Mainstreet) and I will hopefully be at the entrance, ready to welcome you from about 08:30.
As mentioned before Grand Hotel Reykjavik offers a room price: for one guest €143.- / for two guests
€165.- Breakfast and Wifi in rooms/areas included in price. I remind you if you have not already made a
reservation to do so before the 11th of October by sending an email to:
[email protected] and mention
Promotion Code 227500 and note that the Code does not work on the hotel website, http://grand.is
As you may know there is an one hour drive to Reykjavik from the airport. Best way to get to your hotel is
by bus. The bus company is Reykjavik Excursions and you buy a ticket at their sevice desk, which is right in
front of you when walking out of the customs area. Busses go every 30 minuites and are located outside
the therminal on the same side and you just take your luggage to the bus and mention your hotel to the
driver and he will take you there. The bus fare is 2.200 IKR / € 16.-
If you chose to find annother accomodation you may find some hotels here in the vicinity of ICETRA.
I hope the two „maps“ on next page will lead you easily to our administration and note the main entrance
is on the second map, marked with red dot.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Look forward to see you all in Reykjavík.
Einar
