IHO Resolution 5/1957 as amended – IHO Relations with other Organizations Dear Hydrographer, 1. The Directing Committee would like to thank the following 12 Member States that replied to the above referenced Circular Letter: Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Italy, Peru, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Uruguay and Venezuela. All replies supported INTERTANKO being granted observer status as a Non-Governmental International Organization (NGIO). 2. In view of these positive responses, and in the absence of any objections, the Directing Committee will include INTERTANKO in the list of accredited observers to the IHO and will inform the Chairman of INTERTANKO of its new status as an Observer organization to the IHO.
