We currently hold a passport to provide our services to Estonia, exercisable on a cross border services basis only. We have received advice that in accordance with § 17(2) of the MLTFPA, Remitly Europe Limited must appoint a compliance officer to act as a contact person for the Estonian FIU. Pursuant to § 17(5), only a person who works permanently in Estonia and has the education, professional suitability, abilities, personal qualities, experience and impeccable reputation required for the performance of the duties of a compliance officer may be appointed as a compliance officer. We are writing to you to progress with the appointment of a compliance officer and to coordinate the next steps and would be very appreciative of any guidance you can provide?
