Classification: WIPO FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY C. 9313 The International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents its compliments and has the honor to invite representatives of Members and Observers to the Fifty-Third session of the Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC), which will be held in hybrid format at WIPO headquarters in Geneva and via an online platform from September 16 to 25, 2026. The Sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (CEST) each day. The Draft Agenda (document WIPO/GRTKF/IC/53/1 Prov.) is available on the WIPO website at: https://www.wipo.int/meetings/en/details.jsp?meeting_id=90652. Other working documents will be made available in due course. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish. In order to facilitate registration and participation, all participants are required to register online at: https://www.wipo.int/registration/en/form.jsp?organization=WIPO&registration_id=649, using the following code: FT73LT32GA. It would be appreciated if participants could register online as soon as possible and no later than August 14, 2026. All participants are kindly requested to respect this registration deadline so that all the necessary procedures can be completed to enable access to the remote participation platform. The registration form will allow representatives to indicate whether they will participate in the meeting on-site or remotely, and whether they expect to have a speaking role.
