In that regards as discussed in the meeting with Jaroslava yesterday needs to perform full sanction screening for all its tenants and also suppliers. The screening shall be performed using information available in Estonian public commercial register. During the screening the following information must be checked and documented for all tenants and suppliers (see attached excel as a sample): 1) Has the company been sanctioned – included in the sanction lists? 2) Is there a board member and/or council member and/or procura holder with Russian or Belorussian residency? 3) Is there UBOs with Russian or Belorussian residency? 4) Is there a shareholder in the shareholding chain with Russian or Belorussian residency? If the answer to Question 1) is Yes then the cooperation with particular tenant and/or supplier must be stopped immediately, agreement must be terminated immediately. If the answer to any of the Questions 2), 3) or 4) is Yes then the particular tenant and/or supplier must be moved to the short list for the detailed further review on the sanctions compliance and continuous monitoring. Please note that the sanction screening must be fully documented for each tenant and supplier (attached excel can be used as a sample) and also the information/excerpts from the Estonian public register/commercial database must be saved to Ulemiste folders. As the sanctions are already in force therefore the screening needs to be performed asap…I think Ulemiste shall need to complete the initial screening of all the tenants and suppliers within a week from now. I hope there is a clarity on what needs to be done for Ulemiste to ensure the compliance with sanctions regulations….in case of any further questions please let me know.
